These Montana Cincha Western Mohair Girths are gorgeous! Hand Made for your horse in 17 strands of 100% Tan Mohair, with Stainless Steel Buckles, Neoprene Buckle Backers for easy care, more comfortable than leather backers, and they won't become stiff over time! We've also added a nylon keeper for your latigo strap, to help keep the excess strap secure and each cinch has 2 D-Rings in the center for easy attachment of your Breast collar.
* PLEASE NOTE: The 2 small decorative Weave bars, that Montana Cincha used to add, have been removed, to help prevent galling in that area.

Tan super soft 100% Mohair SS Buckles Neoprene Backers & 2 center D-Rings Nylon Keeper for latigo excess.

**Please note: Mohair girths are made with natural Mohair fibers. Therefore, the length of these girths, is achieved by pulling on the buckle ends on both sides of the girth, until tight. These are not leather girths, so they will NOT be a fixed length, buckle end to buckle end, straight out of the package. Just laying flat, without pulling taught, these girths can measure up to 1"-1.5" shorter than say a solid leather girth, due to the lengthening of the natural fibers. However, the girth will measure the length you order, buckle end to buckle end, when pulled tight, to act like a leather or solid material girth.

I've been trail riding  for years, and the Montana Cincha western mohair girths from The Distance Depot are the best I've found.   NO rubs with these.   There are so many advantages to this design, such as neoprene buckle guards, d-rings for your breast collar,  and if you contact the distance depot you can get a custom color added for a minimal fee.   They last for years.   BEST girths EVER.

I was having problems keeping my saddle from rolling on my mutton withered horse. A saddle fitter confirmed that the saddle did fit the horse and after changing pads there was a difference for the better but it still rolled.  A friend who competes in endurance riding suggested that I invest in a mohair girth from Montana Cincha as this is the only girth that she will use. I purchased a Western Montana Cincha and was both amazed and thrilled at the difference in the stability of the saddle. There was
still a little roll but nothing in  comparison to what I had been experiencing. I then invested in an
Endurance Montana Cincha with and the stability was even better. I have been using both girths for at least 5 years and with regular care they still look
brand new. I recently purchased a new horse and am getting ready to order a  Montana Cincha girthin his size.  These girths are well worth the investment and the quality of the mohair, buckles and neoprene backing are superb.
