100% Mohair Girth has 26 strands. Wider Center distributes more comfort for your horse. Hand Made in the USA. These Endurance style girths were developed with the endurance horse in mind! Our Girths are made with the best quality 100% Mohair available, they have Stainless Steel Buckles & Center D-Rings for easy attachment of your breast plate. We have neoprene buckle backers added on each end for easy care, wont become stiff over time like leather backers, more comfortable for your horse. We also have a nylon keeper added to each side of our girths for your billets & we add a Velcro closure over the buckles keep the neoprene backer from folding over. 1 1/8" buckles accommodate standard 1" English leathers. These are top of the line English girths.

**Please note: Mohair girths are made with natural Mohair
fibers. Therefore, the length of these girths, is achieved by pulling on the
buckle ends on both sides of the girth, until tight. These are not leather
girths, so they will NOT be a fixed length, buckle end to buckle end, straight
out of the package. Just laying flat, without pulling taught, these girths can
measure up to 1"-1.5" shorter than say a solid leather girth, due to
the lengthening of the natural fibers. However, the girth will measure the length
you order, buckle end to buckle end, when pulled tight, to act like a leather
or solid material girth.
