This a very light weight headstall that is made from your choice of 1/2" standard (very thin) or 5/8" standard (wider) matte finished beta . This headstall can be used with an S Hackamore or your bit of choice!

I needed a spare, plain, beta headstall as I was too often switching bit/rein set-ups while working different horses.  I searched high and low but every other "basic" option that I could find topped the $100 price point or was $150+ and built to order with a long wait time.  This is exactly what I was looking for, though; it's a high quality headstall at a very reasonable price.

I bought this as a bosal hanger as my gelding is very talented at rubbing bridles off. The look is clean and I like the way the throatlatch is still in the proper place but is dropped so that you do not have multiple straps going over the poll. Functional!
