This is my second pair of flat braid reins from Dist Depot. The first were loop reins. They are soft and small for my little hands. Very durable and dont slip through my fingers when we are caught in the rain. I really like that they are not heavy so the extra length hanging off my horses side does not not pull my hand down with extra weight. I do a lot of mountainous trail riding. If there is an unplanned dismount, my mare will not get tangled up in the split reins the way she could in loop reins :). I love these reins.
