Shipping / Return Policy

Shipping and Handling – Items will be shipped UPS Ground with an estimated delivery time of 1-3 business days from the date of shipment, Depending upon where you are located, we do reach most areas in the country within 3 business days via UPS Ground. If you need faster delivery, then please select the appropriate UPS shipping method when placing your order. Most items are in stock and ready for immediate shipment. Custom orders will be shipped within 1 week, normally our custom orders will ship within 2-3 business days. If for any reason an order cannot be shipped within the time specified, the customer will be notified via email or phone. International orders are shipped US Postal Service. Please email info@thedistancedepot.com for a shipping estimate on all international orders. We cannot guarantee the delivery time on International shipping. Call and have us bring it to you at a ride and you will pay no shipping.

Repairs - $10 minimum charge for all repair work. Repairs will be billed at $20.00 per hour labor rate plus cost of hardware.

Returns - We want our customers to be 100% satisfied. We will always try and fix the problem and if we can’t we will gladly refund your money or give you a store credit less your original shipping costs and a 10% re-stocking fee. All products must be returned in unused condition and within 30 days of purchase. This does not pertain to custom Beta Biothane tack, or special orders including saddles. The customer agrees to pay the shipping charges to return the item.

Custom BioThane® - All BioThane® orders are custom and are based on the accuracy of your measurements and are therefore not returnable. If you have a problem with the fit, we will gladly make any adjustments at no charge for the first alteration only. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges including the return shipment back to customer when the alteration is complete. We offer a 1-year warranty on the BioThane® items against any defect on the workmanship in the construction of the item.

Deposit - Custom or Special Orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Limitation of Liability - In no event shall the seller, The Distance Depot, Inc. be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages or for damages in the nature of penalties. Seller is a distributor of products manufactured and warranted by others. The goods sold are furnished “as is” by the seller and are subject to the manufacturers warranty. Seller makes no warranty, express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose. Horses are strong and unpredictable creatures; it is therefore the responsibility of the owner to assess fitness and suitability of a product for his own horse. The Distance Depot, Inc. acknowledges that the word BioThane® is a registered trademark of Bio Plastics, Inc. and we simply use their products to make custom horse tack.
