The monitor consists of: * A wireless, water-resistant, wristwatch style Receiver (Enduro)- (with more features than the basic). * Transmitter Module * EKG Electrode Kit- coil lead - short lead - two electrodes - Velcro girth strap * Transmitter pouch - Attach to saddle * Tube of EKG gel * USER-GUIDE-CD Enduro Receiver Watch * Heart Rate * Hi-Lo Alarm * Standard Clock -Date- Time alarm - 12/24 hr * 10-Hour Stopwatch * Time In Target Zone * 1/2 Inch Dual Display * Dual  Readout- Heart Rate with Clock or Stopwatch * Night-View Back Light The V-MAX® Enduro is a full featured monitor. The timer is useful for timing the Vet check or ride time. Suitable for Endurance riders & Competitive Trail Riders. We like this model because of the 10HR stopwatch and the larger dual display along with Hi-Lo Alarm & the night light. Wireless is defined as no leads are connected to the rider The system electronic components (Receiver watch and Transmitter) are water-resistant.. You may ride in the rain, wash, sponge, or swim your horse with the V-MAX®. Water will not harm your monitor. The V-MAX® , receiver and transmitter, are designed to allow the user to change the batteries. Do not send the monitor to us for battery replacement. All V-MAX® Systems use a replaceable battery Transmitter. The transmitter from Cardiosport is a solid block style. There are NO flex ends to break. The Cardiosport Transmitter features a 'coin' removable cap. We have found this transmitter to be very rugged and reliable. The battery is very easy to change.
